Well, we should all stick to assembler then. You can't draw a line in the development of programming languages and say "after this, I will consider everything new and shiny and therefor not learn it or use it".

Readability is mostly about what you're used to. Destructuring is powerful syntax, but I can't make you like it, it's just a fact.
